A Community Approach to Success

At REACH we believe we have a responsibility to positively impact the communities we serve. In an effort to build strong community partnerships, REACH encourages employees to participate in local events and become active members of service groups and charities. We enthusiastically help raise funds for worthy causes that enhance the quality of life for our communities.

Conferences
For more than 20 years, REACH has offered educational classes to clincial and EMS personnel. REACH offers several conferences each year attracting nationally-recognized speakers, providing valuable education for EMTs, paramedics and nurses. Completion of the conference provides four to seven CEs depending on the specific courses offered. The conferences are held throughout California as well as in Oregon and Texas.

Our REACH on Tour series covers important healthcare topics facing the EMS industry such as Pediatric Respiratory Emergencies, Acute Ischemic and Hemorrhagic Stroke, Ballistics/Penetrating Injuries, Helicopter Safety, Submersion Injuries, Cardiac–The Evolving MI, and Special Needs Children. Our Southern California Trauma Conference focuses on adult and pediatric trauma, and the California Pediatric Emergency Care Conference focuses on pediatric medical and trauma care.

If you are interested in being on our mailing list, please email us. To view the latest schedule, visit our Conferences page.

Snoopy and Woodstock Statues
In 2005, the city of Santa Rosa created an event called "It's Your Town, Charlie Brown" to honor Charles Schulz, creator of the famed PEANUTS comic strip. The tribute featured 55 statues of Charlie Brown placed throughout Santa Rosa, each uniquely painted by a different Sonoma County artist. The homage attracted a record number of tourists from around the globe who combed the city searching for each statue. In 2006, the city followed up the successful event with Woodstock, and then had the final event in 2007 with 75 Snoopy statues scattered around town. REACH sponsored a statue of both "Lifesaver" Woodstock and "Dr. J Cool" Snoopy, created by artist Mary Hopper. Both are on display at our REACH 1 / Maintenance crew base at 2360 Becker Boulevard in Santa Rosa, California.
